In December of 2017 I launched my first box of Aurifil thread. It features 50 wt cotton with 12 bright colorful spools of thread. The featured designs on the outside of the box show off the life of a Sewing Gnome with three In the Hoop projects. Best part was these designs were absolutely FREE to all (even if you didn’t buy the thread). This new Lady Bug Zipper Bag also made In the Hoop was highly requested. This way there was a little bag to put other sewing tools in. Check our our Lady Bug Zipper Bag In the Hoop below.
This In the Hoop project was designed with 50 wt cotton thread in mind for a matte softer finish. If you choose to use a traditional 40 wt polyester thread, the lady bug button spots might appear to be thicker (denser). If you can try to use your sewing cotton thread for this spot you will be much better off. Why not treat yourself and grab a box of the Sewing Gnome thread now!
