Thought I would try blogging from my iPhone today. This is just a quick trick on how to get really good results for applique stitching. I call it, Appliqué and DNA!
Here is what you do. After you have cut really close to the secure stitch, there might be a few pokey threads and fibers sticking out past the running stitch. All you do is wet your finger with a little DNA, aka your saliva, and pull those fibers in toward the inside of the stitching area. Then, when the final satin stitch comes around, they will be laying flat and get caught. And all thanks to your DNA!
