Who invented and when?
The inventor of the ViviLux Super bright flexible craft light is Dave Riba of Harbor Sales Inc. Dave invented it about a year ago after seeing his customers were needed extra light. Even though most of the top of the line machines come with built in LED lights, that still might not be enough for aging eyes or dark sewing spaces.
What does it look like?
This little light is just that…little. Its white box base measures 2-1/4″ wide by 1-1/2″ tall by 3/4″ deep. From the tip of the black flexible arm to the base of the white box it measures 7-3/4″.
That little black flexible arm holds the LED light and the tip measures 1/4″ by 1/4″.
Where can I get one?
Most everywhere! Check with your local quilt and sewing shop first. You can also find it on-line.
