~Coloring Book with 40 pages and CD with 34 Machine Embroidery designs~
Ever since I was a young girl I have been drawing and creating coloring books. I remember being 6 years old, living in sunny Mt. Dora Florida, about an hour from Disney World. My parents told my brother and I we were going to Disney and any money we earned before hand we could spend on anything we wanted. Keith and I decided to set up a sale outside our front yard. He sold his cars and toys and I drew art work. Even at a small age, I remember thinking I’d create something that the buyer could add their own artistic touch on, coloring book pages. Back then it was drawings of our dog, doll house, trees in the back yard and one of my brothers trains. We both sold out and had $5 each to spend. Now in the 1980’s that was a decent amount to spend for a kid, now a days that will get you a soda at the park (smiles). I never gave up on my dream of someday creating a coloring book. Today I am pleased to introduce my coloring book with a twist, The Year of the Crafter, Month-to-Month Coloring book pages with Embroidery designs on CD.
Coloring book!
Some of my most popular designs have been open and airy, Enchanted you could say. Here are my best selling Enchanted designs.

About a year ago I began drawing in my spare time some ladies in front of their sewing machines or crafting. These sketches eventually made their way into my graphic software and finally to pages of my new Coloring book, The Year of the Crafter.
I toyed with creating just a coloring book, but let’s face it, I am obsessed with machine embroidery. The idea of being able to stitch out the designs is a dream, for me and you.
What’s inside?
Designed with crafters in mind! Stitchers, quilters, knitters and makers of all sorts. The Year of the Crafter coloring book contains 40 pages to color! Thirteen original hand drawn illustrations of crafters doing what they love best! Each month is represented by a crafter with a BONUS fabric shopping girl! Each illustration appears in two sizes: large and half size, both suitable for framing when complete.
What do I draw with?
Coloring pencils are the best. You can go to the craft store, dollar store or drug store. Over the years I have found my favorite coloring pencils are a set I actually bought for my daughter Heidi. I managed to borrow them so often she insisted I keep them, lol.
What size are the designs?
The bonus CD includes 34 machine embroidery designs. The 13 main embroidery designs from the coloring book are ready for the 6” x 10” hoop. The rest of the embroidery designs are coloring book motifs, i.e. spool of thread, rotary cutter, pin cushion, etc. Those embroidery designs range in size from 1” x 1” to 5” x 7”. Formats include: ART-DST-EXP-HUS-JEF-PES-SHV-VIP-VP3-XXX
